We are a Florida based 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Corporation.We specialize in Search and Rescue, Recovery, Security and other Humanitarian activities in times of Disaster. We are at the disposal of any Private, Corporate and Government entity requesting assistance in the event of a Humanitarian crisis.
We currently have volunteer members (Cells) located on 2 different Continents in 2 different Countries with a vast network of dedicated Professionals with expertise in a variety of Specialized fields from Security, Medical, Engineering, Salvage, Search and Rescue To Public Affairs.
Often we are asked ..."What does OM Ma Ni mean?". Om Ma Ni is part of a Buddhist mantra of compassion. The full Mantra is Om Ma Ni Padme Hum. The most powerful words in the Buddhist religion. Although we do not claim any religious affiliation, this Mantra sums up our Philosophy.
Om Ma Ni International Inc. was founded by Scott Forbes who is also their Chief of Field Operations and a Human Remain Detection Dog handler. Scotts' dream is to provide Humanitarian assistance all Peoples in need, in the form of Disaster assistance and recovery of missing Persons. Scott has 13 years of service in the U.S. Military and has attended various Schools from Combat Arms, Special Forces Operations to Drill Sargent . As a civilian, Scott is a C.E.R.T. trainer through the V.D.E.M, Red Cross Instructor in First Aid and CPR/AED Infant and Adult/Child as well as Pet CPR/ First Aid and has completed various F.E.M.A. courses (I.C.S.), Crime Scene Investigation and holds voting memberships in N.A.S.A.R. as well as membership in the Virginia Police Canine Association. Scott is currently a P.A.D.I. Dive Master, Rescue Diver, and certified K-9 handler and hold licenses with the F.C.C. Scott is skilled in Wilderness/ Jungle survival, Water rescue, Man Tracking and Mountaineering.
We have specialty K-9 Teams available both Internationally and in CONUS. From Air scent tracking to Human Remains Detection Teams. If they are out there, we will find them.

Om Ma Ni International utilizes assets from around the World to complete our missions. We have an extensive resource of qualified SAR Dogs and Handlers to assist us in our operations. Cadaver Dogs and Air scent dogs are an invaluable tool to assist us in the tasks placed before us.
Often it is a harsh reality for the Family of a missing loved one to come to terms with but we always believe to hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
A qualified K9 team is more valuable then 10 people stomping the ground.
